This is and the previous SGS4 4.2.2 recent firmware releases claiming to be 4.2.2 needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I took a close look at the changes between 4.2.2 and 4.2.1 and none of them seem to show up in this Samsung 4.2.2 firmware. In addition, most of the system apps show up as 4.2.1.
Regardless, previous versions have run fine for me, so whether it's 4.2.2 or not isn't a big deal.
This firmware is based on the same SGS released a week or so back, but the author claims some fixes and upgrades.
