Weiss ich nicht ob dass das hat. Meinen 2,5D damit ist das Glas an den Rändern des Displays gewölbt und man hat das Problem nicht so sehr und fühlt sich auch noch spitze an.

Dann ist es sowas wie beim Lumia 1520, oder 900. Stimmt, fühlt sich gut an.

Ich hatte schon mehrere... Note 2, S3, S3 mini, Ativ-S... Nur geht da der Touch nicht bis zum Rand, und provoziert somit keine nervigen Fehltouches.

Das Note 2 hatte ich auch, definitiv kein 2.5D Glas. Jedenfalls das originale Samsung. Aber das Edge+ mit seinen abgerundeten Seiten ging mir so auf den Keks, immer mit dem Handballen was ausgelöst. Daher musste es weg. Dagegen ist das kantige Design vom Z5P super, ich kann meine Folien draufmachen und die ganze Oberfläche ist jetzt matt.

Also, dieses randlose Design, muss ich nicht haben. Mal sehen, wie das von Ulefone umgesetzt wird.

Das Edge ist nicht das Gleiche wie 2.5D. Nimm mal so ein Gerät in die Hand da wird nichts versehentlich ausgelöst.

Wir sprechen beide vom selben Gerät, dem GT-N7100? Widerspricht nicht die glatte Oberfläche vom Screen bis zum hervorstehenden Rahmen deiner Annahme? Ich hab da sogar noch Displayfolien herumliegen, und die gingen bis zum Rand. [edit: sorry, hab es mit dem Note 3 N9005 verwechselt, 2014 verkauft].

Ich bin mir jetzt nicht mehr so sicher, in meiner Erinnerung hatte das Note2 einen leicht abgerundeten Rand wie das S3...

Bei den Geräten die ich bis jetzt mit 2.5D hatte gibt es keine kompletten Folien bzw. die die bis zum Rand gehen halten nicht.

@Daemonarch Hast du richtig in Erinnerung, ab S3/Note 2 sind die Gläser zum Rand hin gerundet. Ist etwas was mich bei der Nutzung von Folien immer aufgeregt hat, da man sie nie bis zum Rand hatte. Zumal diese auch nicht kratzfest waren.

Kommt Zeit, kommt Gerät und Folie. Jetzt will Ulephone erst mal das Power verkaufen, bei dem mir leider 5GHz WLAN fehlt.

Irgendwie affig, dass man links und rechts um jeden zehntel Millimeter feilscht und es dann nicht mal hinbekommt die Softkeys unten in den Zentimeter dicken Rand zu integrieren sondern dafür Display Fläche verschwendet...

Es wird 3 Versionen geben.

First of all, the company reveals that there will be a high-end variant of the Ulefone Future that would come with the deca-core Helio X20 chipset. However, given that the chipset is not yet readily available, this particular version will be released later. Also, considering the high-end targeting, the phone will ship with 128GB of internal storage.

Other specs of the phone will be similar to the standard bezel-less edition. So, you can expect 4GB of RAM on board. The screen resolution will be bumped up to 2K. At the back, there should be a 20MP CMOS sensor. No other specs details were revealed at present.

Along with these two editions, there would be another Ulefone Future edition, which will feature less powerful specs. The phone will abandon the bezel-less display, in favor of a regular screen but with narrow bezels. Inside, you can expect the same Helio P10 processor along with 4GB RAM. However, the camera sensor will be less powerful and the storage on board will be reduced as well. With this version, the company is looking to target the affordable smartphone segment, as it will retail for a cheaper price tag than the standard and high-end editions.

Now, coming to the standard edition, Ulefone Future will come with a 1080p 5.5-inch bezel-less display, with a 16MP rear Samsung camera, side mounted fingerprint sensor, Helio P10 octa-core chip and 4GB of RAM.

The company has confirmed that the standard edition will launch in April. The date is not yet fixed, but stay tuned for more details.

Endlich mal News hier!!

Apart from the amazing bezel-less screen, the phone also boasts of a side mounted fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the phone comes with the Helio P10 octa-core chip clocked at 2GHz. There will be 4GB of RAM on board and 32GB of internal storage. At the back, Ulefone Future sports a 16MP Samsung S5K3P3 sensor with PDAF and dual tone flash. As for the bezel-less display, it will be a 5.5-inch panel with 1080p resolution.
Ulefone reveals that the 3000mAh battery on board might be mediocre but it has made sure that the battery will charge quickly thanks to support for 9V/ 2A~3A charging. At this speed, the battery can reportedly charge up completely in just an hour. Other features of the device include Android 6.0, 4G LTE with Cat 6 support, gyro sensor for VR support and USB Type-C port.

Given the flagship status, the Ulefone Future comes with a body made out of a whole piece of magnesium alloy ingot by CNC cutting. The measurements of the phone are as follows: 151.5 x 73.5 x 8.6mm. It will weigh a good 185 grams.

The phone will go on sale for an undisclosed price tag from next week. There will be two colors namely gray and gold.

Die Onlineshops, die Ulefone auf seiner Seite listet, schreiben "Vorbestellungen bis Ende Mai". Also wird man als normaler Nutzer hier frühestens Mitte Juni ein Gerät in den Händen halten. Wie ist die Softwareunterstützung bei diesem Hersteller?
