Ich war ja drauf und dran mir das Redmi 5 Plus zu bestellen, jetzt warte ich aber noch auf das Redmi 5 Pro. Denke in der Mittelklasse wird man nichts besseres bekommen.
Mal sehen wann gute Angebote eintrudeln und ob es irgendwann auch eine Globalversion gibt.

Etwas Off-Topic, weil ich mit den ganzen Unterversionen durcheinander komme, aber die haben hier (in Thailand) neben dem Redmi Note 5a auch ein Redmi Note 5a Prime, mit einem besseren Prozessor und mehr Speicher, für ca. 140€ ggü. 110€.

Ich glaube ich werde mir eine der beiden Versionen holen. Die Kamera gefällt von ihren Daten her. Bei meinem derzeitigen 4X ist sie mir zu schwach .... aber da durfte man bei dem Budget des Handys auch nicht viel erwarten.

Bin mal gespannt, ob das Redmi 5 auch das Band20 unterstützen wird.

Wenn du die Serie auch noch mitzählst, wird es aber echt undurchsichtig mit Redmi 5A, Redmi Note 5A und Redmi Note 5A Prime.

Die richtig interessanten Geräte sind doch eigentlich nur noch das Redmi 5 Plus als Nachfolger für das Redmi Note 4 in der gleichen Preisklasse von etwa 130-150 Euro und das Redmi Note 5, wenn bereit ist eher um die 200 Euro auszugeben. Das Redmi 5 hat zwar mit dem Snapdragon 450 einen interessanten Prozessor, aber ist als Redmi 4X Nachfolger eher zu groß.

Ich bin mal auf das Redmi 5 Plus gespannt. Es ist im Moment in der Auslieferung.
Das Redmi 5 Plus ist ja fast genauso groß wie das zurzeit unhandlichste aller Smartphones, das ich kenne - das Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

Trotz meiner relativ großen Hände, ist das S8 Plus einhändig nicht zu bedienen. Da ist das Mate 9 oder Mate 10 (ohne Pro) deutlich besser zu bedienen, finde ich.

Heute Abend schaue ich mir mal das Honor 9 Lite eines Bekannten an. Das hat in etwa die Abmessungen des Redmi 5. Das ist gar nicht viel kleiner als das Mi Mix 2, knapp 3 mm schmaler. Das Mi Mix 2 ist meinem Bekannten zu unhandlich. Bin mal gespannt, ob die 3 mm wirklich so viel ausmachen ;-)

Bei versus.com kann man sich die Geräte im Gößenvergleich recht gut anschauen.

Nach den ersten beiden Tagen mit meinem Redmi 5 Global bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät. Die 5,7" sind absolut nicht zu groß, was ich am Anfang etwas befürchtet hatte.

Umstieg vom Honor 8 bzw. Redmi 4X, Gerät fühlt sich auch gewohnt hochwertig an, auch wenn die Rückseite komplett aus Plastik ist. Zum Akku kann ich noch nichts genaues sagen, da ich mich doch relativ viel mit dem Gerät gespielt habe, denke aber, dass es ähnlich stark wie das Redmi 4X sein wird. Mich stört eigentlich nur, dass die LED nur einfarbig ist (verstehe jemand diese Politik seitens Xiaomi) und der fehlende USB Type C Anschluss. Ansonsten momentan happy mit dem Teil.
