HAB NOCH WAS versteht englisch nicht soo gut aber um was es geht versteh ich zieht es euch mal rein ist eine diskussion aus nen anderen forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have eventually found the files for MTK loading and manipulation of the rom files.
NO DONGLE is required, just the appropriate data cable (taylor knows the one).
NO DONGLE SOFTWARE
NOTE:This will not work with the usb cable that ships with the phone
Anyways I have made a zip with 4 files in, including the drivers and a manual for the use of the software. We still need to do alot of leg work on finding out the rom/firmware, and if we can alter or modify it.
The further the diggin I do the more convinced I am that 99% of what we want to play with, and alter is not on the rom/firmware, but in the 64mb partition that is used for the internal workings of the phone. I am more than convinced 99% of the settings and chances we want to make are in that area of the memory.
The firmware seems to be more hardcoded about how to talk the the hardware and what hardware funsctions are available. Looking at the MT6226 and MT6226M chips, I see no mention of graphics, java or any other such functionality, apart from the how the hardware talks to the OS.
And I dont think the OS is on the firmware either, well the stuff we want to mess around is.
Anyways I have found out ALOT about the phone, and some disturbing news about the mt6226 = vga camers mt6226m = 1.3mp mt6227 = 2mp camera.

I was able to connect the computer to the phone thru the SPP Bluetooth profile and I downloaded the phone's address book on the computer.
I'll try later to see if this software can see the phone when SPP profile is activated
I'll keep you posted.

Tell me the software you use to connect with the phone please

Doh! why didnt I think of this earlier.........
there are actually 2 things we are trying to do atm.
1- backup/read firmware.
2- access the internal memory to alter the files e.g. phone book, etc.
Now this is where the DOH! comes in
we need an rs232 link to the phone to make changes doing option 1 and 2.
BUT, and here the big BUT, we dont actually need a usb cable for option 2, we will need one for option 1.
ok, the internal ram requires a rs232 cable to talk directly to the phone, when you establish a BT or infared connection with a phone, you are actually making a rs232 connection.
Windows will consider all these devices(infrared,BT) as a serial port and will assign a COM port to it. go to control panel and see the COM number and then use Hyperterminal to connect to ur mobile.
Now to see if we can put it into practice. If windows does actually run like this, we should be able to start modding pretty quickly under BT without having to buy the actual cable.
Since the cable WILL be needed for flashing, etc.
