T-Mobile HD2 English Discussion Thread

Hej nedcom. TouchFLO 3D will not run on this phone - no OpenGL drivers available. Also TouchFLO 2D is running poorly, since only 1.0 version runs without problems.
Best what we can do is to use SPB mobile shell (costs 30$ - www.spb.com) and SenseUI or Galaxy UI.
As for arabic ROM - I am not sure, but I think we do not know how to cook custom rom (if anyone knows, please let me know, I would be more than happy to provice custom ROMs for us).
If You would like arabic keyboard take a look at some publicly available keyboards. I use FingerKeyb, but I know people that use: SPB keyboard, Swype, etc.

i flashed my hd2 t-mobile and it happened just like you said before A PROBLEM WITH TOUCH SCREEN

i announced a help but in different thread, here is the scenario:
dear friends ...
need very urgent help ....

i flashed my t-mobile dual sim but non of them was a success (i tried all the roms listed in the forum), only one German version was perfect

Other English versions was very close:

in the english rom i could not calibrate the screen, the screen did not do with the location of my fingers and when i hardly succeeded to enter the setup> and then screen alignment, i start to follow the cross to calibrate but the mobile keeps showing me the cross to follow and calibrate over and over without end, moe than 15 minutes i kept touching the cross to calibrate but without ending.

what shall i do? and if the German version was perfect without calibration, why the English version was not .. please help me by sending the rom suitable for my mobile. again the German version was perfect.

Lowman dear my mobile now is in German language, very nice language but i cannot understand a word .. hope you can help me thank you .....

If you install SPB you get a lot of languages with in in this UI, there is Arabic support too!

thank you petteri for the info....but now my problem is the ROM, i cant find a rom i the whole forum.. only the German one i mentioned above.. please try to read the info in my previous post to understand the problem, and reply as soon as you can

Hi, German is no problem, i can give you later on intruction whre you can find the language settings in SPB! So everything will be a little more easier...sorry..i`m not at home in moment!

hi dear petteri, thank you for your concern, i solved the problem and finally i got back my rom thanx to LowMan.

petteri ...what do you think of hd3 dual sim...? did yo test it...? if yes what do you think of the speed comparing to hd2 dual sim, i'm thinking of buying one looks pretty nice but i want to make sure that its better than hd2 regarding the speed.

dear petteri, ye..its fake, i mean the clone one, no such htc hd3 dual sim yet (clone), this guy promote hd2 but with a new name (hd3), but the original hd3 has released tho and pretty nice specs(1.5gb processor 1gbram, 1gb rom, pretty nice.

Surely its a clone, but i dont trust in 1.5 GB Processor and the other species! 1.5 GB Processor is too expensive in moment for such a clone!

i need you opponents in this matter,

which mobile is faster practically hd2 t-mobile or hd2 t8585 (both clones),i know the feature for both and the differences, but which one you advice me to buy for my friend since i have already hd2 t-mobile.

is the t-mobile hd2 clone is multitouch, cause mine it seems that its not, since the supplier told me it multitouch.

i think, normaly the T-Mobile should have Multitouch, mine has it, but not on every programs, it works only by picture browsing. i think, both have same speed and power in Hardware, i use much more the MTK HD2, because of the same size as original and using original accessories kit....

thank you petteri...but believe me T-Mobile has no multitouch capability, on photos you actually zooming normal zoom not a multitouch zooming, but anyway i'm happy with my T-Mobile comparing with its price to the original....pretty good product.

Cool, this slows the phone even more, but at least it works - perfectly
Now it is very easy to call and send an SMS from any card

did any one has tested the hd2 with Hisilicon K3- 533, speed-wise?

i have noticed that in the market with the T8585 Hisilicon K3- 533 dose not exist, since its real 533mhz, in wondering if it is more faster than 465mhz (x 2! maybe!)
