Vernee Apollo angekündigt, Lite mit 5,5", 4 GB RAM, USB Typ C Audio Unterstützung

The company confirms today that the Vernee Apollo Lite comes with the Samsung S5K3P3 sensor.

This Samsung ISOCELL sensor comes with 1.0μm pixels with 16MP and supports PDAF, 4K video recording. Moreover, it is just 5mm thick, ensuring that the unit won’t be protruding out of the body.

Rest of the specs of the Vernee Apollo Lite are impressive as well. The phone comes with the Helio X20 MT6797 deca-core processor with a 5.5-inch FHD Arch Sharp IGZO display. There will be 4GB of RAM on board along with 32GB of internal storage. Up front, the phone comes with a 5MP shooter. As for software, there’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS on board. Other features of the device include USB Type-C port, dual SIM (hybrid), compass, gyroscope etc.

The company had earlier reported that the Apollo Lite would be announced in May. However, now the company reveals that the launch has been delayed to June.

According to the company, users often neglect the importance of chargers, which plays a key role in the charging speed as well as the safety. But the company has given due attention to the Vernee Thor’s charger, making it durable as compared to other chargers. Now, it looks like Vernee has decided to use this faster Mediatek Helio X25 chipset inside the upcoming Apollo flagship.

So Vernee released some more close up photos of the Space Grey and it looks really good.

As it sports Zn-Ti alloy uni-body, it features high resistance to corrosion from sweat and rain.

Moreover, the 3D polishing and anodizing process that the Apollo Lite (only the space gray model) adopts endows it with great handling experience, anti-fingerprint feature and a beautiful look.

The company also claims that the design of the display binding will provide more protection in case of falling and makes Apollo Lite look thinner. All the improvements on the details are done just for one goal – to make Apollo Lite even better.

...dann sprechen wir über folgende Maße und Gewicht:

• Größe: 76.2 mm x 152.0 mm x 9.2 mm
• Gewicht: 175 g

Mir persönliche ist das etwas zu groß, tendiere eher zu 5,2" eines ZUK Z2 Pro, Xiaomi Mi5, ... oder auch nur 5,0", mit Abmessungen <= 71mm x 145mm x 8mm.

Hatte vor ein paar Jahren das iOcean X7 Elite, das war damals schon für ein 5,0" Gerät recht kompakt (68,7 mm x 141mm x 8,9mm), trotzdem wurde ich damals ob dieser Größe belächelt.
