Im trying to write IMEI with my flexcable

Hi I bought HTC desire V8
Android 2.2,dual sim dual standby,WIFI,GPS,4.3inch Capacitance screen from this site

I used it for 2 hours then made a factory reset and my IMEI number got erased, so I bought this flexcable from this site http://etotalk.com/flex-cable-for-mtk-hd2-hd9-hd7_p2561.html

I have Installed the PL2303 drivers for the flexcable and get com3. Im trying to write IMEI with SN_WRITE_TOOL.

The phone manage to get in meta mode, but then I get connection error. Its not able to send data to phone.

I have tried Flash tool to rewrite the rom. I get the same problem
Anyone have any ideas?

I have tried this on 2 computers, One with XP and one with windows 7

it will work on both PC Systems....you have do work only with flashcable, not with regular USB in this moment. try latest HD9 ROM download from here: Click and use latest driver for SN Tool!

EDIT: CZ was faster...you can try both methods....

Although the connector for the HD2 and V8 are the same, did you check with etotalk that the flash cable is also compatible with the Desire V8?
