Edit:

http://chinamobiles.org/showthread.php?33250-Firmware-fuer-HDC-GT-N7102&p=363679&viewfull=1#post363679

I try to get it in short:
please try:
1. please delete the file "mtkpgs.dat" as N2K1 wrote you will find in "/data/misc/mtkpgs.dat"
2. please activate A-GPS and EPO
3. create outside a new file while using YGPS

you have to go outside with you phone and create a new file with the app "ypgs" (have a look in system and than app folder you will find there!)

at step 3 , just go to system/app/ and then click ygps .. it says install ygps.., click install ,then show install complete.. go to maps.. but after 30 sec say network location unavailable..

ok i can't help you in this point how this exactly work, because i won't create this (because my GPS is working), maybe you can ask "composer" how this step will be done correctly.

Oh, no!
Do not click this file into a browser!
You must enter engineer mode (you can do this with some dialer command (on my phone *#*#1478963#*#*) - or via the mobileUncle tools)
Now you can run YGPS and wait until the fix.
But there is an other musthave before: Your system time and time zone is necessary to set correct!
(You can do this with the app fasterfix - and in Settings date&time to Network time.)

Click on INFORMATION ans look te TTFF (time to first fix) and latitude/logitude - there should be a value (not running time in ttff field!)
