Guys,
Just noticed that there is a folder in the root called sharemap, with the following sub directories
config
ime
maps [China]
resources
templates
style
How does one activate or enable this GPS, or is it not available on current FW?

GPS is not available on the current hardware

That folder is only "useful" if you have a Chinese firmware (like the V1.1.3), it's more or less just a tool that shows you a Chinese map, no GPS navigation or anything and also no other maps than China available.

So, it's pretty much useless.

This is just like a little toy called compass^^ Instead of the compass you have a chinese map in the background and the arrow will turn if you turn the phone...nothing usefull...
