only gsm/edge on sim2 after flash custom miui7 rom

hello,
i recently installed miui7 on my dual sim mtk based (mtk6592t) smartphone (coolpad 9976t)
it does work very well, but the second sim slot lost the bands for umts/wcdma connections.
before the update, both the slots were capable to find and connect on 3g network
now only sim1 slot can connect to 3g
in mtk engineering mode i see that only these bands are now available on sim2 slot:
GSM MODE
EGSM900
DCS1800
PCS1900
GSM850
Instead on sim1 slot i have also the UMTS MODE:
WCDMA-IMT-2000
WCDMA-GSM-900

with stock rom, the UMTS MODE was available also on sim2 slot, and i could connect to 3g networks

How can i fix this problem?

It is perfectly normal that you can only find 3G / 4G frequencies available on ONE sim slot in the engineer mode. When you switch the data connection from one sim to the other, you don't actually switch the frequencies, you switch which sim slot is slot one and which one is slot two, so don't worry about what the engineer mode tells you.

How to resolve your problem? I don't really know but if I were you, I'd boot into the recovery mode and do all the wipes you can find there. When updating to a higher MiUi version usually wipes are necessary. Keep in mind that all your data will be lost!

i will try to wipe the data, as you suggest
i have the miui 5.9.10 beta, this is an old (and beta) MIUI 7 version .
I am going to update to a newer rom version (for example, i see are available for download the 5.10.15 or perhaps also newer than this).
Perhaps doing this update, i will solve also the frequencies problem, do you agree?
