Anyone knows EGOMAN.COM.CN MID/ PAD/ TABLETS ?

i am from Germany and have bought NEXOC PAD 7.

but NEXOC has no HDMI.​

Is there meanwhile a new information about this subject, because i am also interested to know, if there is a possibility to upgrade the android-version in this pad?

Hi!

I was also trying to get some update going, so here is my current status:

- I'm not aware of any downloadable firmware or update.
- Superoneclick gives you adb shell root. So the current partitions can be dumped (already did this and uploaded them. Speak up if you need the link).
- The backup partition is empty (so no firmware image from there).
- The leaked RK 2808 packaging manager should/might work with the firmware components.
- I'm not aware of any bootloader, that _definitely_ works with this pad. There _might_ be some, but I'm not sure which one works. Asked for help on this problem. Since I don't have any firmware image, I cannot extract the bootloader from there. I asked for help on this problem, but have to wait for a reply.
- I should be possible to modifiy the system partition in the pad and add software etc.
- Adding a new kernel is more problematic, since the bootloader might stop working then (a new kernel would be necessary to add new features like 3g support etc).
- Distributing those modification is another problem, since it's not a simple update then.
