hello,
i succesfully installed miui7 in my coolpad 9976t
the rom is working very well.
i miss only 1 thing: i have the flip cover, the s view wake/sleep function when i open/close the cover is missing
do you think that is possible to have this function on miui rom too?
how can i activate it?

Take a look at Setup/Lockscreen&Password there should be a slider called Smartcover-Mode.

i searched for that option but i did not find it
i have the miui 5.9.10 beta, perhaps the option is missing because this is an old version and need to update to a newer rom version? (for example, i see are available for download the 5.10.15 or perhaps also newer than this)

It's an matter of your ROM, if it is an matter of the version, I can't say. The Coolpad isn't a Xiaomi device, so someone has ported MIUI7. Maybe you can make a request at him.

Yes, you are right, thanks.
The problem for me is to find who ported the rom
and then be able to contact him and get an answer.
I entered in this forum also for that, because i found some interesting threads about my current chineese smartphone.
People who knows where to find the roms for my device.
The problem is that the thread is a little old (the last post one month ago) and will be difficult to contact the members who posted in that thread.
I pisted some questions in that thread, i hope to get some answers, if i will not get will try to contact them with private msgs.
