thank you all

I don't think that you will see any difference at the performance. The K3 CPU is fast enough. Normaly you get the low-speed problems because of the bad programming and it's not caused by the CPU. So at least from my point of view, I don't see any problems buying a mobile phone with a K3 CPU.

thank you Cybergdog11 for the info, i think nobody knows what the exact cpu inside the hd2 dual sim, some say that dual cpu MT6516. x 2 , other say i cpu 460mhz + 268mhz, but logically (cause i own one) its seems not more than the sum of 533mhz.
thanks a lot

It is said that T-mobile HD2 has dual 460MHz (so 2 x 460MHz) for bluetooth, WiFi, display and apps + 280 MHz for GSM network.
The question is how to check it. In my opinion t-modile HD2 is damn slow (I owe one).

yes you are right, it is slow, but we own a CLONE, so if we compare it with original its very slow, but if you compare it with the Chinese clones...i think its pretty good.

I don't even had a chance to look for the right cpu speed of my HD2 single SIM clone (it's the one with K3 cpu). One program showed me a clock speed around 460MHz...problem is that I don't know a program that shows the real speed of the cpu.

Clone or no clone - if there would be any other >4 inch phone with Dual Sim and Windows mobile I would buy it.
T-Mobile HD2 even have different dimentions than original HD2. All I am saying that if there is dual core 460MHz just for apps, I would expect it to work much faster.
I owned T3333 dual sim Chineese clone - it was hell faster, but I wanted bigger screen.
Earlier I had Omnia (628MHz) origianl single sim - that was faster then HD2 close but slowe than T3333 clone.

If I have time I will try to cook custom ROM - maybe that would speed things up. So far I have no idea how to do that.
Anyone have any experience with that?
I have seen much speed difference in different ROMs on my Omnia.

Hi!
I have a single sim HD2 (also called Hot HD3 on chinese forums) and find the speed quite good. Web browsing with Opera works well, as do music and video playing. Anything you want me to try?

I agree, SPB Mobile Shell+Sense is ok but with some stuttering. SPB Mobile Shell or Sense alone works fine.
Outlook starts without much delay

Yes, it is far from fluent.
I know that in general Windows Mobile phones are far from being fast, but I see HD2 as slow one compared with other Windows Mobile phones I owned.
